A petition of the track opposers was presented last week, requiring the selectboard to reconsider their yes vote for the horse racing track. The meeting will take place via Zoom only (no in-person meeting) at 6:30. Disappointing that the opposers are not being given the same courtesy to speak on their petitioners behalf. the foundations in the middle will be forfeited for constructions on the other side to the right of the ramp! called a holding pen! good for 3 dozen horses at least. plus parking for all the trailers...
not visible are the 1ft thick white telephone pole style "guard rails" (check out suffolk downs racing) to prevent the 12 horses from taking shortcuts.
